How wonderful that you are going towards meeting a new listening partner! The things that you both write here will be shared so that you can learn a bit about each other before you meet.

Name(Required)
(Some examples are: “I joined recently and this is my first introduction.” Or “I am starting a new writing project.”)
(You are not committing to using your turn this way! You are just giving your partner a sense of what you are up to.)
(For example: Phone and video call both work for me, but I prefer to do phone in the evening.)
(For example: Mondays from 9am to 1pm, Tuesdays from 5pm to 8pm, Wednesdays not at all, Thursdays 10am to 5:30pm, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays not at all.)
(For example: Every day, every other day, once per week, once every two weeks, or once per month.)
(For example: “This is my availability ongoing.” Or, “I am going to Australia for May and June.” Or “I will be having a baby in about 6 months, so all scheduling will be happening on a new basis after that!”)
(For example: “I prefer not to hear swear words.” Or “World War II is a no-go topic for me.” Or “I usually move around while I talk.” Or “I will want some notes taken as I am using my time to speak my ideas for my memoir”)

More information about the personalized introductions:

We gather all requests received by Tuesday evening (Pacific Time) and then let you know if we have a new introduction for you within a week – by the next Tuesday evening. (The last introductions will be done November 29th to make sure you have time to meet before December 15th.)

We check in with you after your first meeting with a new listening partner to see if you would like to do more listening sessions together. If you both say yes, we suggest proceeding with a series of three sessions and then checking in with each other again after that.

It is totally fine to bring your time of scheduling with someone to a warm end. We recommend just letting your partner know and ending your final session by sharing gratitudes and takeaways from the whole of your time together.

The connections you make here are yours to keep and develop in whatever ways you both wish!

Description: The big idea is that it’s your life, your “movie”. You can have more happiness and well-being. It’s about the STORY you tell yourself about what’s happening in your life every minute. There are always 2 sides to everything, the positive and the negative. Look at both and choose to see the best for you and what you need and want. Why not plan and envision the best story you can?

Please share this event widely.
